Chardonnay is the very soul of Ruinart. The grape, mainly harvested from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims terroirs, is at the heart of all our cuvées. Ruinart Blanc De Blancs captures that soul. A large majority of Premiers Crus from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims vineyards for aromatic refinement, supplemented by Sézannais wines known to provide maturity. Finally, several wines from the north of the Vesle valley give a light, fresh touch.

THE BLEND

Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is 100% Chardonnay from various years (20 to 25% of which are reserve wines from the 2 previous years).

TO THE EYE

Beautiful pale golden yellow colour with gentle green reflections, a vibrant, luminous colour. Active effervescence with a persistent release of bubbles.

TO THE NOSE

Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is at first very intense on the nose, with fresh fruit notes, particularly ripe citrus fruits. A second refined floral nose with notes of white flowers and fruits (white peaches, pineapple).

ON THE PALATE

A supple, harmonious attack on the palate, very rounded. Vinosity that is not excessive, supported by excellent freshness.

FOOD PAIRINGS

A perfect champagne for aperitifs, particularly in spring and summer. Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is an excellent complement to seafood and shellfish; perfect with a sea bass or bream tartare. It would also be very good with seared sole.

Note – this item does not come with a gift box or bottle wrapping.

The history of Ruinart rosé, the very first rosé champagne to make its appearance, dates back to the 18th century. While Ruinart rosé champagne first appeared over 250 years ago, its excellent quality remains the essential feature of the production of this delicate wine to this day. Discover Ruinart Rosé.
